Children's
talent, artistic or otherwise, stems from their ignorance of
alternatives.
- Maya Angelou Hello
everyone. Hope
you are all enjoying the colors of Spring and making the most of this
beautiful time. I really enjoyed the last two days of rain we got here
- most refreshing and very distracting when you are trying to get taxes
done. I know! Life is hard! :)

ASU
Prep Academy was doing a study of ancient India in their 1st and 2nd
grade classes. For the arts section, they chose Warli!!! Imagine my
surprise when I was invited by their very talented teacher to speak to
the kids and teach them basic Warli skills! It was such a joy
introducing these curious minds to the world of triangle people (as
they like to call them).Little Hands discover Warli The kids had a great time learning about and making their own Warli art. I fell in love with their creativity and their intelligent questions. I even got hugs from them and they really didn't want me to leave. Don't know if that was because they enjoyed Warli so much or because they were trying to avoid their next class :) I'm so happy that people are embracing Warli and recognizing it's simple beauty. ________________________________
