Here
is a great
opportunity to check out absolutely beautiful art work, by some very
talented local artists. Creations, an exhibit at Mercado: Creations, an exhibit, is happening at ASU Mercado's The Galleria, in downtown Phoenix. Couple of my paintings (Roots and Warli Art) are part of this beautiful exhibition all of July and August 2009, along with creations of other wonderful artists. The exhibit is organized by the Arizona Consortium for the Arts. Here are details: When: All of July and August, 2009 Where: ASU Mercado's The Galleria Address: 502 E Monroe St, Phoeniz, AZ 85004 (Map) Formal Detail: "A fine group exhibit showcasing fine art, photography, quilting and multimedia from talented artists in the Arizona Consortium for the Arts." This exhibit is being run completely on volunteer basis, with no commissions charged. All transactions happen directly between the artists and customers. ________________________________
Announcements You have heard me
talk time and again about the Guild
Gallery run solely on volunteer basis by the East
Valley Art Guild for
the benefit of all the art loving people and artists. The guild has
wonderful news to share. The president of the guild, Ron Floyd, is
opening a gallery in downtown Mesa called the SunDust
Gallery. To quote "The
goal of SunDust Gallery is to create a vibrant and energetic arts
showcase for local Arizona artists, along with creating an art
destination that will help build arts awareness in
downtown Mesa and
the East Valley."
The Guild Gallery will now be housed inside the SunDust Gallery. So, we have a wonderful, great new location!! Invitations
As you might have guessed, there's gonna be a great new gallery in town ... so there has to be a great new opening show! I'd like to invite you to the grand opening.
