Last couple months have brought reasons to smile. I'm happy to share some good news with you. One of my Warli tribal paintings (http://www.meenakshimatai.com/warliSeries2.html) was published in the May 2009 issue of JetLite, the in-flight magazine of Jet Airways. Exhibitions and Invitations
Here are couple great
opportunities to check out absolutely beautiful art work, by some very
talented local artists. There are two ongoing exhibitions I'd like to
tell you about. Creations, an exhibit at Mercado: Creations, an exhibit, is happening at ASU Mercado's The Galleria, in downtown Phoenix. Couple of my paintings (Roots and Warli Art) are part of this beautiful exhibition all of July and August 2009, along with creations of other wonderful artists. The exhibit is organized by the Arizona Consortium for the Arts. Please feel free to bring along friends and family. More the merrier. Guild Gallery Exhibit: The Guild Gallery's exhibit is happening now!! Couple of my paintings (In that corner and Warli Art) are part of this ongoing exhibition all of June and July 2009, along with other wonderful art work by local artists.
