Here are some common questions. Please email me if you'd like more information.
- Do you sign all your art work?
Yes, I sign all my art work either on the front or back. I sign all my Giclee prints as well.
- What is a Giclee print?
I usually tell people to read the Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giclee) page on Giclees. In short, giclees are quality reproductions of original art work. They can be done in varying sizes and on either art quality paper or canvas.
- How many Giclee prints of each painting do you do?
I print giclees only on demand. All prints are part of a limited edition, i.e. limited by the total number of prints for each painting.
- Can you do Giclee prints in a specific size?
Yes, I can work with you on the sizes. It needs to be proportional to the original piece.
- How do I know this is autentic art?
I will give you a signed Certificate of Authenticity for each piece you purchase.
- Will you do custom art for me?
Yes. I would love to set up an appointment with you to better understand what you'd like. If you live within reasonable driving distance, I can drop by your home to meet with you so we can work towards creating a piece that would fit perfectly into your world.
- Will you make and sell giclee prints from my custom art?
Yes. The artist retains the reproductions rights for each piece of art. I will not paint something identical and sell that though.
- What materials do you use?
For my paintings, I use watercolors, acrylics, texturing mediums on paper or canvas.
- How do I place an order for something I see here?
If you like something you see here and would like to acquire it, please contact me and we can go from there.
- Can I buy something I see here online?
You can go to my Etsy shop to buy prints online. Please watch this space, as I will soon be setting up online shopping.
- How do I pay you?
You can pay me either with cash or check or Paypal payments.
- How can I pick art work up that I have bought?
I can either deliver it personally or we can arrange a pickup.
- Will you ship your art work?
I will ship art work that is relatively light and does not require special shipping. Please watch this space, as I will soon be setting up shipping in art crates for bigger pieces of work.
- Are your prices fixed?
We can negotiate some prices if you buy more than one piece.
- What is your return policy?
All sales are final. I do not do returns or exchanges at this time.
- Are all of your pieces framed? Can I buy frame from you?
No, not all my pieces are framed. No, I leave framing of such pieces to the customer, as the frame needs to fit in with the decor of the room the painting will be in.
- Do I have to buy the frame you already have?
No. Some of my paintings are framed and you have the option of buying with or without the frame.
- Are all of your pieces matted?
All my photography pieces are matted. My paintings on paper and giclee prints may or may not be.
