This is a scene of the Tarpana dance from the Warli tribe and musicians playing along. The Warlis give a lot of importance to nature in the form of trees and how it helps their sustenance. 

Warli is a tribal art form by the people of Warli tribe. They live in the western part of India in the state of Maharashtra. Warli paintings have been a tradition that dates back to more than four thousand years ago. They use just circles, to depict the sun and the moon, and triangles, to depict mountains, trees, to produce beautiful works of art. They paint on walls by first preparing them with cow dung and mud and then using rice flour and water to draw with bamboo sticks. Most Warli paintings depict scenes from daily life. Traditional Warli paintings hence have a dark brown background and a white foreground.

In my case, I have tried to depict the union between this tradition and modern life. I have maintained the tradition by keeping the foreground white but I've used backgrounds of varied colors and textures to indicate modern times.
